Fr. Matt Holland, S.J. is a priest at St. Leo Catholic Church in Tacoma. He graduated from Bellarmine in 2000.

Bellarmine seeks the “more,” the Magis, in all that we do. We aspire to do more than merely graduate seniors who are ready to succeed in college. The Magis is one of many familiar Ignatian concepts flying around in Jesuit circles, like AMDG, “People for Others” or “Seeing God in All Things.” Yet, to live the Magis out is elusive. This is what the Magis Retreat aims to inspire in our seniors.

Fr. Pete is a 1954 Bellarmine grad and has kept close ties to his roots in the Puget Sound. When back from his 17 years in Washington D.C. (Center of Concert) and 28 years in Zambia and Malawi, Pete has always stayed with the Bellarmine Jesuit Community (Orton Hall). He has regularly assisted in the Jesuit Parish of St. Rita's and in St. Patrick Parish, where he attended Church during his childhood. He also helps out as Chaplain in the ICE Detention Center on the Tacoma Tide Flats.

What many has been know as Community Period of the past many years is now known as Ignatian Formation. Find out what this change in name means to the students and community of Bellarmine.
